The regeneration of Wembley Park reached a significant milestone with a ‘topping out’ ceremony of one of its new housing developments.

Dawn Butler MP, Cllr Muhammed Butt, leader of Brent Council and Richard Blakeway, deputy Mayor for housing, land and property at the Greater London Authority attended the Emerald Gardens ceremony hosted by development company Quintain at the North West Village.

Emerald Gardens is comprised of seven blocks which have seen presales of 90 per cent of its 475 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments.

One bedroom flats remain on sale starting from £398,000.

All the homes in the development have either a balcony or terrace, and are spread across seven buildings, set in almost an acre of landscaped grounds, with amenities including a 24 hour concierge and security service, a gym, a private cinema and a residents’ club room.

Mr Blakeway said: “Quintain’s developments at Wembley Park will be a great complement to the thousands of homes that will be brought forward in the surrounding Housing Zone, and together they will add much needed housing capacity to this fast-growing area of London. I look forward to seeing continued progress at the site.” James Saunders, chief operating officer of Quintain, added: “It has been wonderful to take time to celebrate the topping out of Emerald Gardens. This is a significant step in speeding up the supply of new homes for Londoners and in building a Wembley Park that is a joy for people to live in now and for future generations.”
