A Wembley man has raised thousands of pounds for a blood cancer charity by cycling from Blackpool to Paris.
Anil Pindoria travelled 885km over seven days to raise £9,500 for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
The charity entered a fundraising partnership with DIY chain Wickes eight years ago and has so far raised £3.8million for beating blood cancer.
Mr Pindoria, a supply chain specialist at Wickes, who had previously raised money by cycling to Everest base camp, said: “I wanted to continue to do my bit and raise money for the charity and as this was my second London to Paris ride I wanted to do something extra and even more challenging. That’s why I decided I would start at Blackpool Tower.
“I am planning on doing the event again next year, but you will have to wait to see what I have planned to make it more exciting!”
