A festival for those in need of storage inspiration is taking place in Wembley with plenty of tips and tricks.

IKEA Wembley, in Drury Way is inviting all home lovers to embrace the joy of storage at its IDEAS Festival this weekend.

The family friendly event will include in-store activities and different workshops to inspire old and young alike.

Visitors can master the ‘art of tidying’ and gain insight into the revolutionary method of simplifying, organising, and storing, from how to fold clothes properly, to how to display items they love.

These bookable workshops run by a trained life coach and IKEA experts will be offered to Ikea Family members before the store opens, with mini versions of the workshop running throughout the day for all visitors.

Children can learn to customise their storage items in the art and craft workshops or be amazed by the interactive ‘Magic Boxes’ show where impossible things will happen before their eyes.

Pedro Abreu, store manager at Wembley, said: “The importance of storage in the home is something that can often be overlooked - it can create space, atmosphere, and an overall sense of well-being. We all want a place to safely store and beautifully display all the things we love in the place we call home. Taking the time to organise our living space can have a huge impact on the efficiency of our day to day life, and this is something that we aim to explore through the Joy of Storage IDEAS Festival”.
