Shoppers have nominated 30 businesses in the area
Thirty businesses have been nominated or the title of Harlesden’s Top Shop 2012.
You can vote for your favourite at the Harlesden Town Team website.
All the businesses have been nominated by shoppers, from chain stores to independent high street-gems like Sparks and Zaks.
With six categories, the awards show the wide variety of businesses and services that can be found in the town centre at the moment.
Nathalie Monnot, awards organiser, said: “We hope that these awards will remind our neighbours how lucky they are to have really good shops within walking distance.”
The search for the best shops marks the beginning of a campaign by Harlesden Town Team to make Harlesden a better place to live and to shop.
The team recently bid for a slice of the 1million fund set up by the Government and retail guru Mary Portas to support UK high streets.
Anyone can vote for their favourite shop by going to the Town Team website, www.harlesdentownteam.org, before June 15.
The winners will be announced at Harlesden Town Team’s Love Harlesden Day on June 17.
