An award-winning reggae musician from Brent will be the guest of honour at a community fun day in Willesden.

Gappy Ranks, who grew up in Harlesden, will be at The Winter Warmer celebrations taking place at the Unity Centre in Church Road, this Saturday.

The family event will include go-karting, workshops, two plays, face painting and a bouncy castle.

Food bank charity Sufra will be offering tastings from their recently launched Food Academy.

The four-hour event is organised by Brent Residents Forum, Catalyst Gateway and the Resident Involvement Team.
