Food lovers were treated to a culinary colour extravaganza as part of an event to celebrate National Vegetarian Week.

More than 100 people turned up to the special event at the Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University in Pound Lane, Willesden, to learn more about going veggie.

Cooks served up a selection of healthy dishes to visitors using recipes and ingredients from all over the world, proving that a meat-free diet does not have to be boring.

The free event on May 18 was held ahead of National Vegetarian Week, which ended on Sunday, and aimed to change the way people think about food.
