A police car has crashed and flipped on its roof in Alperton injuring two officers.

The vehicle smashed into an empty parked car in Mount Pleasant at the junction with Ealing Road just after 6am this morning.

The officers were treated by paramedics at the scene and their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Road closures are currently in place.
