Brent Housing Partnership (BHP) has added two new directors to the executive management team.

BHP, an arm’s length management organisation which manages and maintains council properties and its homes in the borough, have appointed Keith Harley and Peta Caine as Director of Development and Growth and Director of Operations respectively.

Mr Harley, who has worked in the affordable housing industry for 25 years, said: “I am very excited to join BHP and be part of such a dynamic organisation.

“One of the key aims over the coming years is to increase the number of affordable housing to rent and buy and help deal with the chronic housing shortage in the borough.

“I am looking forward to the challenge and making a significant contribution.”

Ms Caine, who has been in the social housing sector for 26 years, came from Ealing Council where she was responsible for Ealing’s Landlord Services.

“I am very pleased to be appointed as Director of Operations for BHP,” she said.

“I am impressed with the commitment and drive of BHP Officers and the Board to providing good services for residents and their passion for the community.

“I am keen to develop these relationships with both residents and suppliers, and build on the many strengths of the organisation.”

The appointments follows a recent 10 year management agreement with Brent Council which puts forward a dynamic new model for housing and the role of arm’s length management organisations
