Polish pair remanded in custody

TWO homeless Polish men have appeared in court charged with murdering a compatriot whose body was found a derelict office block.

Piotr Kulik, 29, and Krzysztof Szafisz, 33, are accused of killing 37-year-old Marcin Porczek who was found in the disused former Unisys building on North Circular Road, Stonebridge.

Mr Porczek, who was found on December 14, died from a head injury.

All three men are believed to have been sleeping rough in the building.

Kulik and Krzysztof have been remanded in custody after appearing before Brent Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
