Gambian international Paseku Kujabi scores for QPR days after flying over to England for Spurs trial
Gambian international Paseku Kujabi scored a wonder-goal to help QPR to a 1-0 pre-season win at Harrow Borough on Friday – just 48 hours after he flew to England for a trial at Spurs.
Left-back Kujabi, who has been capped 10 times and currently plays for German outfit FSV Frankfurt, was due for a trial with Harry Redknapp’s side last Wednesday, bit the Lilywhites didn’t have a game and instead flew out to begin their pre-season tour of South Africa.
Instead, Kujabi made his way to Loftus Road, and the man whose nickname is Roberto made his mark in emphatic fashion with a superb swerving second-half 30-yard free-kick at Earlsmead as the Rs ran out 1-0 winners.
