A giant interactive festival celebrating the diverse cultures of India is heading to Kingsbury for three days.

Tribal India is taking place from Friday until Sunday in Fryent Country Park from 12pm to 7pm with performances featuring people who have never before left remote regions of the sub-continent.

The park will be transformed into tribal villages where visitors learn to make dinner sets from leaves, mill their own flour and get their hands dirty making clay pottery.

Enjoy a spectrum of live musicians, tribal performers, artisans and drumming collectives and watch dynamic dances of the tribal regions of India as well as learn about their customs and rituals. No festival is the same without food and there will be a whole range of different dishes to try out.

The festival is organised by Red Lotus Events.

Tickets cost £5 or £3.50 if bought online at
