Dancers from Queen Park Community School, Wembley High School and Kingsbury High School are participating in the ‘Spring Sharing’ events as part of the Step into Dance programme.

The programme, which includes students aged 11 to 18 from both mainstream and SEN schools, is a partnership project between the Royal Academy of Dance and The Jack Petchey Foundation.

The events are part of a programme giving hundreds of students the experience to perform on stage in front of buzzing audiences.

One student, who took part last year, said: “It is such fun showing other schools what we do – and also seeing what they do. It makes us all work harder.”

Spring Sharing starts in Newham, east London, on April 21.
