The 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo yesterday was commemorated at Kensal Green cemetery with a visit by the Royal Regiment of Artillery.
Members of the regiment laid wreaths on the graves of their colleagues who fought in the battle and were laid to rest in the cemetery in Harrow Road.
They also attended a service of remembrance at St John’s Church in Kilburn Lane, which was conducted by Rev David Ackerman.
