Victim, 24, was knifed in Winchelsea Close

A teenager has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Stonebridge yesterday.

The 24-year-old victim was knifed after he was attacked by two youths in Winchelsea Road, at around 2.05pm.

Both suspects fled the scene but a 16-year-old was later arrested and is currently in custody.

Anyone who witnessed the stabbing or with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
