The owner of a tattoo parlour in Harlesden who was fined after a worker treated an underage child has pulled out of a fight to appeal his convictions.
Danny Cameron 51, of Coco Tattoo and Body Piercing on Craven Park Road, was convicted and fined a total of £17,823.50 at Willesden Magistrates Court last November.
However he launched an appeal in Harrow Crown Court to overturn his convictions for four offences under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and for one offence under the London Local Authorities Act 1991.
But shortly after the proceedings began he withdrew his bid after taking advice from his legal representative.
Cameron was prosecuted after he failed to listen to previous warnings from Brent Council following concerns about his shop.

He was convicted of:

Cllr James Denselow, Brent Council’s cabinet member for stronger communities, said: “Given the evidence stacked against him, there was no way in which Mr Cameron would have been able to convince a court to overturn his five convictions from last November.
“I hope that this case sends out a strong message to any other irresponsible businesses out there that if you flout the rules and put the public and especially children in harms way, Brent Council will take action.”
