An elderly woman who died after being hit by a lorry in central London has been named as a 96-year-old from St John’s Wood.
Herta Groves was pronounced dead at the scene in Wigmore Street at the junction with Wellbeck Street, on April 27 just after 2.30pm.
The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and was not arrested.
