Wembley Stadium will become the home of football once more, and now more so than ever. With Tottenham Hotspur granted permission to play all of their matches in Wembley, whilst their new home is being built, this weekend marks the beginning of a busy schedule for the national stadium.

There will be five sporting events taking place this month, starting tomorrow (August 5), with Spurs’ taking on Juventus at 5.30pm as they welcome their fans to their temporary home, despite playing their European games here last season.

And on Sunday, North London rivals Arsenal will face Chelsea at 2pm in the Community Shield in front of another capacity crowd.

Tottenham’s debut Premier League fixture at Wembley is a mouthwatering clash with Chelsea on August 20 and the following weekend, Wembley will host a further two matches. On August 26, the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final will take place, followed by Spurs’ game against Burnley. And on September 4, England will be in action as they take on Slovakia in their World Cup qualifier.
