Spurs star Scott Parker would be a “fantastic” addition to QPR, believes Rangers midfielder Gary O’Neil.
Harry Redknapp revealed at the weekend that Hoops chairman Tony Fernandes had agreed terms with Spurs for Parker’s services, with the final decision down to the player.
Fulham are also interested in signing the 30-year-old former Chelsea and Charlton Athletic man, but O’Neil, who played alongside Parker at West Ham United, wants him at QPR.
“I’ve seen the rumours, he’s a great player and would be fantastic at this level,” said O’Neil. “He can still do a job in the upper parts of the Premier League, so to get him to come here and help us out in the Championship would be fantastic.”
