The annual South Kilburn Festival will be taking place this Saturday.
Funded by South Kilburn Trust, the festival celebrates the cultural diversity of the area and concludes a five-day programme of events led by residents and local groups.
For the first time in the event’s history, residents of South Kilburn have used their knowledge and passion for the area to shape various aspects of the event from planning to activities on the day.
Activities at the festival will include musical entertainment, dancing, a bouncy castle, face painting, games for adults and children, stalls and more.
Mark Allan, Chief Executive of South Kilburn Trust, said: “We are extremely excited about year’s festival. It is always a great event that brings the whole community together in celebration of the rich culture and diversity of South Kilburn.
“We have something planned for everyone and with the help of local residents and organisations, this will be South Kilburn’s best festival to date.”
The festival place from 12pm to 6pm at the Carlton Vale Green space.
