What is your most memorable event in Wembley?
To mark the open of their new hotel in Wembley, their 503rd in the county, Travelodge asked 2,000 people what event they remember the most about the town which is famous for its stadium.
Unsurprisingly the top 20 list featured sporting and music events with England winning the World Cup at Wembley Stadium in 1966 coming top of the list.
Jessica Jackson, manager of the new hotel in Wembley High Road, said: “We have two hotels close to Wembley Stadium and one of the most popular questions discussed amongst customers and staff is what the most memorable Wembley moment ever is.
“Our findings have revealed that we are a nation obsessed with football, with just three music events making the top 20 listing.”
