It’s the latest craze that is sweeping the nation but Pokémon Go fans know only too well how much it drains their phone batteries.

But fear not if you are visiting Brent Cross Shopping Centre as a team of ‘Recharge Rescuers’ will be on hand to give you phone that power boost it needs.

A special team will be offering portable battery chargers to any customers who are running low on fuel particularly around areas where there are known Pokestops and Gyms.

Brent Cross Shopping Centre already offers visitors lockable charging stations, but with gamers keen to keep on hunting in search of rare Pokémon, portable chargers are their best bet.

Fiona Campbell-Roberts, UK head of marketing at Hammerson, which manages the centre, said: “Pokémon Go has taken the UK by storm and as we’ve now hit the school holiday season we know our customers especially those with young families will want to keep playing, even whilst they shop.
