A song recorded for free at studios funded by Brent Council has topped the UK charts this week.
Clean Bandit’s track ‘Rather Be’ was recorded at the South Kilburn Studios in Canterbury Road, in return for the band taking on local young people as apprentices.
The arrangement worked so well, that a number of the band’s apprentices who worked behind the scenes ended up singing back up on their records.
