Now in its fourth year the event was opened up by young band members from Hampstead School who kickstarted an afternoon of musical entertainment which included headliners, the Kings Parade.

With a range of food, children’s activities and stalls, the day was a resounding success.

Friends of Gladstone Park used the event to launch their plant pledge. to encourage residents to contribute to their walled garden.

Local resident Osita Udenson said: “It was really good. It rained all day but despite that people came. We salvaged as much as we could. The entertainment was great, so was the food. Everyone just got on with it.”
