Radio Northwick Park is just what the doctor ordered

Hospital station came second in prestigious radio awards

A HOSPITAL radio station is celebrating a double whammy after winning a prestigious silver award in the midst of its 40th birthday.

Radio Northwick Park (RNP) came second in the station of the year category at the Hospital Broadcasting Association’s annual awards last week.

RNP programme controller Ben Punter said: “It’s fantastic news, we’re all so pleased and I’m proud of all the presenters and volunteers who work so hard throughout the year to entertain so many people in the hospital.”

RNP officially launched its 40th anniversary celebrations earlier this year and will be holding a series of events throughout the year to raise awareness of the charity in the local community. For more information, visit
