Two rabbits are looking for a new family after they were dumped by their owner who callously hurled them over a fence into a park in Wembley.
Luckily a passerby witnessed the cold-hearted act at King Edward’s Park yesterday and rescued them before taking the pair to the Mayhew Animal Home in Trenmar Gardens, Kensal Green.
The female bunnies, which are less than a year old, are just half the weight they should be because of their previous owners neglect.
They have been aptly named Notting Hill and Carnival and need a caring owner.
If you are interested in adopting them both or any other animals at the Mayhew call 020 8962 8000 or visit http://themayhew.org/.
