A total of 170 people put their knowledge to the test in support of St Luke’s Hospice in Kenton Road.

The 23 teams collectively raised more than £3,800 for the hospice which helps people living with terminal or incurable illnesses and provides support to their families.

Amy Sau, a 23-year-old writer and tutor, took part in the quiz.

She said: “The quiz is always well organised and fun! St Luke’s looked after my dad when he was ill and I found the hospice to be a worthy cause and the staff were very helpful.”

The winning team called Serendipity were given a trophy and a bottle of wine for each member.
