Shortly before 5 this morning British Transport Police attended Queen’s Park station in Kilburn after a person was struck and killed by a train.
The incident is not currently being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “At 4.43am we were called to Queen’s Park station following reports of a person being struck by a train.
“Officers and paramedics did attend, however the person was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“We continue our work to identify the person and inform their family.”
