QPR midfielder Alejandro Faurlin will undergo a scan on Monday after picking up a knee injury in his side’s win over Derby County on Saturday.
Faurlin was stretchered off after 77 minutes of Rangers’ 2-1 win at Loftus Road, in clear discomfort after a challenge with Derby’s John Eustace.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp said: “It doesn’t look good. It’s his left knee. Everyone’s keeping everything crossed that it’s not as bad as we fear.”
Jermaine Jenas opened the scoring for Rangers in the first half, before Simon Dawkins replied for Steve McClaren’s side.
However, Jake Buxton’s own goal after half-time ensured that Redknapp’s side returned to winning ways and stayed third in the table behind Leicester City and leaders Burnley.
