Glyn Hodges has left his role as head coach at QPR to join former Rangers boss Mark Hughes at Stoke City.
Hodges, who was brought to Loftus Road by Hughes in July 2012, is expected to team up again with his fellow Welshman, who was sacked as QPR boss in November.
Hodges and Hughes were team-mates in the Wales national side, and also worked together at Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City and Fulham.
