Injured QPR defender Luke Young remains nowhere near recovery from a hip condition, manager Harry Redknapp has revealed.
Young has not featured for the Rs since March 2012, and has suffered a series of setbacks since undergoing surgery in an attempt to solve the problem.
The 33-year-old right-back, who joined QPR in August 2011 and has won seven England caps, appears no closer to recovery.
Redknapp said: “He’s not been fit. It seems to drag on and we can’t get him out on the pitch. He takes one step forward and then two back.”
