Participants will read excerpts from books written by Victorian novelist
Library campaigners are holding a 24-hour reading session to mark Christmas on Thursday.
The event organised by Preston Community Library and Friends of Preston Library Event will involve people reading excerpts from books by Charles Dickens.
Some participants will dress up in Victorian costumes to add to the fun.
Volunteers are being sought to sign up for reading session varying from 10 or 20 minutes.
The event will start around 2pm and once its finished a carol-singing session will take place.
