A Harry Potter actor has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to growing cannabis plants from his home.

Jamie Waylett, 20, who plays school bully Vincent Crabbe in all five films, admitted to growing ten cannabis plants from his home in Messina Avenue, Kilburn.

Mr Waylett appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court today along with his friend, John Innis, 20, who pleaded guilty to possession of 11 bags of cannabis and a knife.

The actor, who was sentenced to 120 hours of community service, was caught out in bazaar circumstances after police found photographs of his home-grown cannabis by coincidence when looking through his camera in April.
