Police motorcyclists will gather at a renowned biker café in Stonebridge to take part in a special memorial ride in honour of an officer who died on duty.

The charity event will see participants journey from the Ace Café, in North Circular Road, to the National Police Memorial at Horseguards, Charing Cross, in the memory of PC Andy Duncan who died after being hit by a car in Sutton in September last year.

The ride has been organised by the Lost Saints Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, established in the UK in 2010.

The group is made up of police and law enforcement personnel who ride motorcycles and are committed to raising money for police charities.

Each year the members take part in ‘Ride for Remembrance’, which honours officers who have died on duty.

This year’s event will take place on September 28 on National Police Memorial Day.
