Police are appealing witnesses after a 66-year-old pedestrian was critically injured following a car crash in Sudbury.

Officers were called to Sudbury Court Drive at 7.10pm yesterday evening at 7.10pm last night by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) following reports of a road traffic collision.

A 66-year-old male pedestrian was found suffering from critical injuries.

He was taken to a West London Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

His next of kin have been informed.

A spokesman for the police said: “The driver of the car involved stopped at the scene of the collision and is assisting police with their enquiries.

“No arrests have been made.”

The investigation is being dealt with by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton Traffic Garage.
