One person has been rescued and one man taken to hospital after a fire swept through a house in Neasden.
Twenty firefighters and four engines, police and ambulance crews were called to a blaze in a converted house on the A406 North Circular Road at 8am this morning.
Half the ground floor and part of the first floor of the terraced property, which contained six flats, were damaged by the fire, London Fire Brigade (LFB) said.
One man was taken to hospital but his injuries are not life-threatening. One other man was being treated by LAS at the scene, said police.
An LFB spokesman added: “One person was led to safety, uninjured, by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus. Four adults and two children left an adjacent property before the arrival of the brigade.”
The fire was under control by 9.30am. Fire crews from Willesden, Hendon and West Hampstead fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
