There is no service in both directions on the Metropolitan line between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Aldgate due to a signal failure at Wembley Park.
Problems on the line were reported early this morning from around 6.30am.
Passengers are being asked to use alternative routes whilst emergency engineering takes place.
Tickets will be accepted on London bus services on any reasonable route and on Chiltern railway trains between Amersham and Marylebone.
