A nightclub bouncer accused of killing a special constable was told to 'give her a hiding' but knifed her by accident, a court heard.

Jason Jones, 36, is accused of murdering Nisha Patel-Nasri on the orders of her husband Fadi Nasri, of Sudbury Avenue, Wembley, who allegedly wanted to cash in on her life insurance policy and move in with his Lithuanian prostitute lover.

Mrs Patel-Nasri, 29, died in a pool of blood after her killer plunged a blade into her left groin outside her house in Sudbury Avenue, Wembley, on May 11, 2006.

Getaway driver Tony Emmanuel told the Old Bailey how Jones was hired by Rodger Leslie, a friend of Nasri, to take drugs from the house and hurt his wife because she was having an affair.

He said: "Giving her a slap was part of the plan. He was told if she gets in the way he should give her a slap.

"Jason told me he was just going to get some drugs. The husband was going to leave the premises and leave the front door open.

"He said the reason why the husband was setting her up was because she was having an affair with someone and she was dealing with drugs."

Emmanuel admits driving Jones to a street near to Sudbury Avenue.

He claimed Jones returned flustered about 15 minutes later and ordered him to 'drive, drive.'

Emmanuel said: "Jones phoned Rodger and said 'It's all gone wrong. Can I see you'?

"I kept saying to him 'what's gone wrong'? But he just said 'nothing, nothing.'

"Later on he said he stabbed someone accidentally."

Nasri, 34, Jones from Manor Park, east London, Leslie, 38, from Bells Hill, Barnet, and Emmanuel, 42, from East Ham, east London, all deny murder.

The trial continues.
