Free consultations and advice on kicking the deadly habit
A drive to help people in Brent quit smoking will take place on Friday (Feb 24).
Brent Stop Smoking Services has teamed up with British Heart Foundation to mark National Wear Red Day in Wembley Central Square between 9am and 6pm. The event hopes to raise awareness of heart disease and the dangers of smoking.
Residents can get a free consultation, sign up to a six week support programme and receive information about how to kick the habit. There will also be free carbon monoxide and lung age testing.
