Discuss your high road

An eclectic mix of people have long called Kilburn High Road home but what does the future hold?

Liberal Democrat Kilburn ward councillors James King, Janet Grauberg and David Abrahams, will all be on hand at the meeting, as will Brent representatives, where the future of the High Road will be discussed.

Split between two councils, Brent and Camden, many feel Kilburn is often neglected and organisers hope the meeting will help pool together resources and ideas.

The Kilburn area forum takes place on February 18 from 7pm at Kilburn Town Centre Management, College of North West London, Priory Park Road, Kilburn.

A night for musical tastes

Thirty singers will herald the coming of spring with a mixed programme of choral music and poetry.

Members of Queen's Park singers will perform music by William Byrd, Copland and others on Sunday, February 22 at 6.30pm at the church of St Anne and St Andrew in Salusbury Road, near Brondesbury Park station.

David Till, the conductor, said: "We will be singing some beautiful music associated with the season of Lent, and members of the choir will read poems on the theme of the transition from winter into spring."
