Forum to focus on development

Residents can have their say on a range of issues at the area consultative forums.

The future of Kilburn Library in Salusbury Road, will be under the microscope along with plans for the waste management developments in the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration scheme at the Kilburn and Kensal Green Area Consultative Forum.

The forum takes place at Queens Park Community School in Aylestone Avenue, Brondesbury Park on April 28 at 7pm.

Call to walk to work

Ditch those office brogues for grubby trainers and walk to work for a week, the council is urging workers.

Camden Council is hoping as many businesses as possible will take part in Walk to Work Week from April 27 to May 3.

Stepometers, log-cards and wall charts are being handed out for free.

Sing out for anniversary

Choirs are being asked to take part in a nationwide sing-along to celebrate the 200th year anniversary of the birth of composer Felix Mendelssohn.

More than 100 choirs up and down the UK have been rounded up by BBC Radio 3 to sing 'O for the Wings of a Dove' on Sunday May 10.
