The draft Brent Cultural Strategy 2010-2015 sets out a vision of a range of cultural opportunities and key principles the council's cultural partners and providers will need to consider.

The draft strategy, produced by the Culture, Sport and Learning Forum brings together the public sector with the private, business, community and voluntary sectors.

FOOTBALL fans got the chance to develop their football skills with England and Arsenal star Rachel Yankey.

More than 70 Brent children took part in a two week summer scheme, which included football sessions, clay modelling, Irish street dance sessions, trips and T-Shirt making.

The fun for those aged aged between five and eleven years old took place behind Mitchell Brook School in Gibbons Recreation Ground off Bridge Road in Stonebridge.
