Neasden bar in cheeky 3am request weeks after 'lock-in' claims

The owner of an Irish bar in Neasden asked for permission to hold a series of 3am drinking sessions just days after being told to hand over his licence following police complaints of late-night "lock ins".
Timothy Sheahan, who runs Greene’s bar in Neasden Lane has now withdrawn the request to serve alcohol to bank holiday weekend revellers until 3am.
The application to extend opening hours from 11pm to 3am was made on August 14, came just two weeks after the council ordered his name be removed from the pub’s licence after police claimed they had rumbled a series of 4am ‘lock-ins’ at the premises.
In a licensing hearing on July 27, police who raising serious concerns over the pub’s management won their bid for Mr Sheahan to be stripped of his licence.
