Multi-car collision causes traffic delay in Cricklewood near Brent Cross

Emergency services have warned of severe traffic delays on the A41 in Cricklewood after a driver lost control of his car, resulting in multiple collisions.

Paramedics from Brent ambulance service reported a patient had lost control of the vehicle following a severe anxiety attack at shortly before 3pm this afternoon.

There are no reported injuries following the collisions and the man is said to be in a stable condition.

Hendon way is partly blocked northbound before Brent Cross with tailbacks currently extending to Finchley Road.

Motorists are advised to avoid the route if possible.
