Drivers warned about possible delays
Drivers are being warned about possible delays in Wembley during road works which are due to start tomorrow (Monday).
Diversions will be in place as the month-long gas works are carried out at the junction of Forty Avenue with Preston Road.
During the works cars travelling northbound up Wembley Hill Road will not be able to turn left into East Lane and will have to follow a signed diversion.
Temporary four way traffic lights will be used and will be manually operated during peak hours, with lookouts in radio contact with the operators to ensure traffic flows as smoothly as possible.
