Seven men are to take on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for drama sessions in a special needs school in Kensal Rise.

The group are taking on the highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales on July 8 to raise funds for drama charity Roundabout.

The money raised will enable dramatherapy sessions at the Manor School, in Chamberlayne Road.

The men will scale Ben Nevis in Scotland which stands at 1344m, Scafell Pike in the Lake District, the smallest at 978m and then head to Wales’ 1085m Mt Snowdon all in 24 hours.

Louise Kimber, deputy head of Manor School, said: “We’ve seen children become so much more confident in how they present themselves in a range of situations. We know that dramatherapy makes a difference and we hope to continue working with Roundabout to provide the very best opportunities for our pupils to become, the best that they can be both now and in the future.”
