A branch of McDonalds in Neasden has introduced table service for customers so they no longer have to queue up for their food.
The fast food restaurant in Brent Park on the North Circular Road, will also offer diners gourmet burgers cooked to order in an attempt to refresh its image.
A trial of table service took place at 14 branches last year and was such a success that it will be rolled out in 400 restaurants by the end of the year.
Diners will also be able to brows the web and check their emails using state-of-the art tablets installed at some tablets.
Henri Appiah, the branch’s franchisee, said: “We’re thrilled with the transformation because we’re committed to offering our customers’ more choice and fast service.”
