DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses to come forward to help them track down a man wanted in connection with an alleged assault, writes Kate Ferguson.
On May 13 at 12.10am an 18-year-old woman was walking along Harrowdene Road at the junction of Crawford Road, in Wembley, with a black man she had met while boarding a train in Harlesden.
They travelled back to the Harrow Road, left a bus, and walked down Harrowdene Road together.
The man became sexually suggestive and when the victim rebuffed his advances he grabbed her hair and tried pulling her off the pavement and down an alleyway next to some houses.
She screamed and the man eventually let go and walked off.
The man is described as a black, 5ft 8ins, and was wearing a black jacket, black Nike baseball cap, and black Adidas trainers with and Adidas logo along side of a sole.
