Brent Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was viciously attacked in Kensal Rise after the Notting Hall Carnival on Monday.

The victim sustained a head injury after he was punched in the face which caused him to fall to the floor in Chamberlayne Road.

Officers patrolling the area detained a man who was arrested on suspected grievous bodily harm.

He has been bailed to return to a police station at a later date.
