A man has been shot by police after he was Tasered twice in Queen’s Park in the early hours of this morning.
Officers from Brent Police were called to reports of a disturbance in Claremont Road at around 2.45am where they tried to detail a man.
The man ran off and was followed to nearby Kilburn Lane where he was Tasered but with no effect to him.
Firearm officers were called to the scene where the man was shot after a second attempt as Tasering was unsuccessful.
The man has been taken to a central London hospital for treatment.
No one else has been injured.
The Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed.
