Passengers on a Wembley bound bus have been shaken up after a collision with a delivery van.

Christopher Mullan, 51, was returning from Central Middlesex Hospital when the 224 bus carrying 12 passengers collided with the van on Rainsford Road at 11.30am today.

He said: “I was very shocked, it was horrendous. I take anxiety tablets but I took another one to calm me down abit. I’ve never been in a crash in my life.”

Police spokesperson said: “There was a collision between a bus and a truck at 11.30 this morning in Rainsford Road NW10. Officers attended the scene. I don’t think anyone has been significantly injured.”

Ken Davidson, Head of Bus Operations at TfL, said: “At around 11.30 this morning, a lorry collided with a route 224 bus operated by Metroline on Rainsford Road at the junction with Whitby Avenue, NW10. There were no reported injuries. There will be an investigation into this incident.”
